Okay so i'm making a 7 layer dip, although i'm not sure if there will be 7 layers....?

I have the following:

Refried beans

Sour cream

salsa

shredded lettuce

tomatoes

cheese

what order do you think I should put it?Okay so i'm making a 7 layer dip, although i'm not sure if there will be 7 layers....?
Your also need sliced black olives.

Good idea is to mix the taco seasoning with the sour cream.

If you use salsa, I would drain it for a few minutes in a strainer. I do this so that the dip doesn't get watery.

Don't forget your taco chips!!!! Use the ';Scoops'; by Frito-Lay.Okay so i'm making a 7 layer dip, although i'm not sure if there will be 7 layers....?
beans 1st.

then sourcream,

salsa,

lettuce

tomatoes

sprinkle with cheese
This is how I make it, you can just omit the guacamole if you don't want to use it

refried beans

guacamole

sour cream mixed with taco seasoning

black olives

green onions

tomatoes

cheddar cheese.

Enjoy!
Beans

salsa

(Guacamole)

sour cream

lettuce

tomatoes

cheese
The one change we always had is we would mix the sour cream with a packet of taco seasoning. We used guacamole instead of salsa, since we have diced tomatoes, and also have diced black olives.

Other than that, the order you have it in is the oder we layer it.
You forgot the layer of guacamole dip, that goes over the refried beans ... otherwise, your order is fine
I make my layer dip with cooked ground beef which I add taco seasoning to. Layer it in this order beans, meat (if using), salsa, sour cream, lettuce, cheese, tomatoes. If you don't use meat, mix the taco seasoning with the beans; you want to keep the sour cream as white and clean as possible.
